Has anyone switched from Campy to FSA Compact? I'm thinking about going this route vs. buying the Campy compact setup.

What BB is preferable in people's experience? Also, does anyone know what BB i would need for a Colnago Dream Plus?

Go with FSA Platinum Titanium 68X108 ISIS. I'm not sure if you will need a English or Italian thread. I have over 6,000 miles on the FSA BB and it's still as smooth as day one. I like the compact crank. With an 11 to 23 it still gives you more gear inches than an 53-12 combination and a more than a 39-35. It shifts just better than the Campy Record crtank I took off. You will have to drop front derailluer about 10 to 15 mm. If you haven't bought your cank yet, email me, I bought two of them and am not going to use the second one, it's still new in the box 50, 34 ISIS for $250 shipped. hd1812atyahoodotcom.

I had a Campy crank on my new bike temporarily while I was waiting for the FSA crankset to come in. I have to say that I really like the compact set-up a lot.

It's gotta be Isis compatible (or uh, octalink) and Italian thread. Go with the FSA Platinum Ti. I had to replace mine after 5000 miles (if it's raining, I still ride) but I hear the new seals are better.

Campy compact is way too expensive.
