good--can now use apostrophe in my handle.

bad:

internet cops at the office now see "forums.roadbikereview.com" instead of "forums.consumerreview.com", the latter being more nebulous. now there's no doubt what i'm doing. :rolleyes:

can't seem to change or specify an avatar. everything else seems to be working, aside from having to re-register and use a new email address. (my handle was recognized as the one i used 3 years ago.)
