I'm looking for a couple of parts for the bike I'm building up and was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to post "want to buy" type requests? The Classifieds here cost (a littl) money and I'm not sure folks will go there looking to sell things. Any help would be appreciated.

so many of us are frankenbikers that I personally (I'm not speaking for the whole tribe) don't mind requests for cx stuff on this board. Personally I'd rather hook one of you up than some stranger at a bike swap or ebay. I had a swet set of canti's that I sold to a guy at a swap (he gave me the'"I'm a broke college student building my first cx bike" story) so I gave him a good deal. 2 days later he had them posted on ebay so I cursed him (not swearing but more voodoo style) in the ask a seller a question. Just last week I wound up with a set of tires from a discussion on this post so just title it NEED, WANT PARTS and then only those concerned will look. as for selling, post it in the classifieds, we need to support the page.
