Has anyone had a chance to try the new Time ATAC XS models? I'm particularly interested in cleat compatibility between the old & new models -- ie., do I have to completely change over my investment in several sets of "old" ATACs, dedicated a pair of shoes to a different standard, or will I just be able to click and go with my current ATAC cleats?

Cheers!

Same cleats, you're good to go!

I want a set too...

And I like them even better. They don't have the side-to-side float like the originals but seem just as easy to enter.Yes,they are ~85 grams lighter, with 3 tension settings.

So your foot can't move perpindicular to the direction you travel now? You can still rotate your heel to a natural position right? I started on Time pedals very long ago but have been on speedplays for a few years now. I'm looking at the new times for my cross bike but am not sure how they'll feel after being on speedplays...

Is still the same, but your toes don't slide left to right. So the lateral float has been removed, but they still ride the same.
