Here is a square tapered forged crankset for only $30 by DOTEK. 110mm 5 bolt pattern. Just make sure there is a chainring in your desired size for this pattern before buying.

You can also buy chain rings which will fit 130/110 bcds, and both 3/32 and 1/8 chains from danscomp.com. They are also very cheap at $4.99-$13.99. They come in sizes from 32t to 48t, and in black and silver color.

that's just what i need. but can you help me find a bottom bracket? preferably on that same site. it must be an English style, square tapered.

with the crank above? are crank bolt's standard?

also, the frame has track spacing, assuming it's 120mm(frame didn't arrive yet). what length should the spindle of the bb be to have the best chainline? thanks again.

I need to add a question to this.....


I bought a set of the IRO wheels, and on their site it says they have a 42 mm chain line.

Is that measured from the center of the axle or the outside. The spacing is 126 mm.

To repeat the question above, what lenght BB spindle would be appropriate and does the choice of crank change the required BB length?
