There was a guy out there over the weekend taking pictures during all the races. The pictures were for sale and he was also going to post them, again for sale, on his website. Unfortunately I forgot to get the address of his website. Anyone know what it is?

This was a message posted from, I'm assuming, the promoter on tetoncycling.com's message board:

First, a big thanks to all the racers at this years States. We know it was a very tough 2 days. And while few of us who sponsored the event raced, it was equally tough for us.

There was not a single complaint during the 2 day race! That say's a heck of a lot for the Colorado Cross comminuty. Everyone stepped up a notch and realized we all made the best of what we had.

We witnessed some amazing performances, from a senior rider running 2 laps to a junior who would not give up. It was some of the most inspirational determination we have ever seen in the sport.

This is one of those epic races we all can have some great memories about as the years tick by.

Thanks to all racers, ACA officals and crew. You are all a real top act!

Don't forget to see some of the photographic history at www.roadbikephotos.com and a review at www.cyclingnews.com

Thanks for the link to tetoncycling.com. I had never heard of that message board. Read all the replies to the cycocross post you mentioned.

Here is the most recent reply on tetoncycling.com:

While I did finish, on one bike and without a pit crew, I think it was sad that the State Championship had to be decided on that course. It should have been rerouted to make it a rideable course. Granted, no one can predict the weather or how the course will hold up, but after the first couple of races on Saturday the promotor should have realized that some serious rerouting was warranted.

Glorifying the fact that a Senior rider had to run two laps, while extremely courageous on his part, only shows how little thought the promotor gave to the course condition. Had the Senior rider not had to have run two laps, would he have been in a position to challenge for the lead? Would he have been the State Champion? Unfortunatley we will never know.

I agree that cyclocross runs in all weather, under all conditions. I have raced in mud, snow, 20 degree weather, and never complained until now. The promotor had a responsibility to the racers of Colorado to at least provide a rideable course.

His board picked up shortly after the ACA board died.

Apparently it was pretty messy out there based on the posts.

Here are a couple pictures of my bike after I finished. Also, do you know why the ACA board died?
