(except they got the dates between Tom and I mixed up)

We really really wanted to get a Norcal stop on the USGP calendar and Tom could only do one race, So we stepped up to do the other. Eeeks! A UCI Cat1 race will cost at least $10,000 extra to promote. So we're only slightly worried. Mark you calendars, come out and show them what NorCal can do, and send any sponsors our way!!

We will also be reviving a mini Surf City series, with the USGP race being the finale of a 3 race series. The other two races will be in October, with one, of course near Halloween. We are going to try and secure one of the old school courses for the first race. Nostalgia and all. It'll be fun. Good thing we have many more months to plan!!

The $10k shouldn't be a problem.

I hear you have a great guy working on sponsorship/event promotion.

This is GREAT news!

I love having two hard cross races back to back, like the last two Pilarcitos races this year.

November 19, Watsonville, California
November 20, San Francisco, California

Very cool. But that's a lot driving for one weekend. I'll have to start working on that hall pass now. No really...

So should we keep the barriers from the base of both climbs like we did this year and keep them out in the flats?
I heard that made it a little more challenging for some and others took full advantage of it and dug it.
