thought i'd post a couple images of the Surly Cross-Check i built for my wife. i had the frame bead blasted and powder coated bubble gum pink. there is also a topcoat of iridescent sparkles. this bike reeks of chic, and my wife is stoked for next season. i threw the platform pedals on so she could go for a quick spin around our block on christmas morning...
have fun,

Greatness!
What size frame is that? It looks close to my clown bike frame...

I'm building my wife a sweet Nag for Valentines. Campy equipped so I'm going to have all her Ultegra stuff from her present Roadie that will need a new multi-purpose frame.

Nice. Reminds of the pink Rivendell.

the frame has a 46cm seat tube [c-t] and has an effective top tube length of 53cm [c-c]. my wife is REALLY excited! surprising really when you consider she's not really the "pink" type. she's even been cruising the LBSs searching for a pink helmet. what a riot - she's having fun! can't wait to work the pit for her next season...
keep on having fun,

Nice! I like the attention to detail, like in the white paint in the fork crown area. The pink looks great with the white Surly stickers.

Very nice!
Considering the stack of spacers and totally aft position of the seat, she might also fit a larger size?

actually, she wants to take a few spacers out, lengthen the stem, and push the seat forward. i built it exactly the way it was when i bought it from a colleague, and now it's her turn to fit it to her body. frame should prove to be the perfect size...
15" of fresh pow in flagstaff, az! 4-8" more today, and more coming thursday, friday and saturday! we're lovin' it...

Hey, is that the Suntour Microdrive version of that crank?
It looks familliar somehow... (specially since I've got a pair hanging in my garage!)
