Well, after putting a few thousand miles on a Schwinn Fastback I decided to pick up a lightly used Cannondale CAAD 7 frameset. Swapped the parts over from my Schwinn and here we have it! Cannot wait to take it for a ride...if it would only stop raining up here in the NW!

Don't really know about the weight. I would imagine is weighs close to the same as the fastback...around 18 lbs.

great color.
i am a fan of blue, but C-dale really hit the spot with that metallic blue. it looks like the metal is actually blue and not painted.
some really fast guys on the Cane Creek team ride that same color C-dale on our group rides. it is nice to look at while my tongue is hanging out in the pace line. :p

Good move!
I used to hate my schwinn, the cannondale is gonna feel kinda bouncy and rough at first. Just shift up and stand and you will never go back to any other frame again. Awesome sprints and acceleration with precise cornering...go cannondale and you will never look back. Welcome to the club, and nice ride!

You know, I really liked the ride of the fastback. It felt super smooth to me. It was just a little too long in the top tube and finding derailleur hangers for it is becoming a challenge.

The cannondale fits me perfect. I have only been able to put a couple of hundred miles on the cannondale, but is a bit stiffer than the Schwinn but feels pretty good to me. Other than that, they both ride about the same.
