Reno got dumped on over New Years weekend. I woke up to start 2005 with two feet of snow covering the streets. The only solution was to go snowshoeing.

I'm in Auburn, just below snowline, and it's been raining EVERY DANG DAY for weeks now.

My commute, which is part road and part dirt, is one big quagmire.

Wish I had the chance to snowshoe, maybe I'll put on the hipboots and go for slog through the mud.
