Have a nice bike with a good wheelbase and top tube length for me. Problem is the handlebars are too low and the fork is already cut. I’m looking for some kind of extender or special stem that can help me. Fork is a Reynolds Ouzo Pro with a carbon steering tube, threadless headset, so I’m trying to reuse the fork.

I love the rest of the bike and I don’t want to get rid of it. Any ideas welcome!

Thanks

You're best bet is to swap your current stem for one with rise, if you haven't done so already. If you've already done that, you're only option would be a steerer tube extender, but those don't seem to be held in very well regard. I tried to find one a few years ago and couldn't find any that would fit a 1" steerer tube. My bike shop recommended against the extender, but I don't know if that opinion was based on fact. Steerer tube extenders are easy to find if your fork is 1-1/8 since they seem to have been invented with mountain bikes in mind.

If you do have to buy a new fork, you might want to buy a head tube extender, such as the one sold by Serotta, to avoid stacking a bunch of spacers. Just make sure you don't make the mistake of cutting your the steerer tube too short on your new fork. Let it stay too long for a while, just to make you've got the correct height.

This SEEMS like it should work OK, but I have no firsthand experience.
