I'm looking for a couple of items and would like to get them all from the same place. I've just picked back up cycling from a little hiatus and it looks like the suppliers on the internet have changed. The items I'm looking for are:

der. cable/housing
cutting tool for brake/der cable and housing
campy bottom bracket tool
campy front der.
shimano front der.

Where would be the best place to go for this stuff?

what kind of shimano front derailleur are you looking for? I have a Dura Ace 7700 dubble front that i am selling

I really am just looking for a braze on super cheap one. I bought a Litespeed sirius and am planning on probably taking the chorus gear off my old softride, replacing the 105/ultegra/dura ace blend on the sirius, then selling the softride on ebay or here in the ads. The only parts it looks like I'll have to buy now are the derailers (sp) and the cables. Don't guess that I 'have' to have a matching one, so the answer is, a really cheap doube braze on shimano and a campy clamp on.

Use a Dremel cutting blade for nice clean cuts on the housing.

J -- isn't "spamming" the act of creating a new post (i.e. "I've got parts for sale!")? I've never taken offense to someone saying "gee, where can I get X for a good deal," and another board member responding "hey, I've got one of those in the parts box I'll sell ya."

In fact, our recently departed Russ19W did the same for me in response to my search for an old skool turbo saddle. Cut me a great deal on the side. Members helping one another... isn't that what this site is about?

haydenThese are relatively cheap parts that youwont save much money on except the deraileurs. Tools and housing especially aren't a high markup item. Why not go to a LBS and support them there and hit performance.com for the deraileurs. That way you save some money on the high cost stuff, and help the LBS with the tools and housing.

there's a fine line. the decision is often tempered by the poster's history and number of posts. SEK82089 has <20 posts, fwiw. it's a judgement call.

however, checking SEK82089's history and previous posts, i see he/she has a classified ad on RBR for this and other gear. good on ya. :D
