I'm trying to finish up a re-furbish of a '67 Raleigh 3 speed.
My problem is the left (cottered) crank arm has been badly rusted over the years.
My Dad had installed a kickstand that struck the crank at every revolution and slowly wore away the chrome.
Now it is very rusted.
None of my local plating shops even do chrome anymore, and they want big buks ($60-$100)
to do it in nickel. Ouch!

I'd just as soon buy a used crank that is in good condition

Anybody got one?
