My prescription is -6.50 and -5.50 and after doing some searching on the board I found that Zeal Optics would probably be my best way to go. I've completely had it with contact lenses falling out while riding, especially after that caused me to be dropped from this morning's crit! Anyone have experiences with Zeal at these higher prescriptions?

I have a set of Zeal Lazors with prescrip poly lenses and they rock. I would have to go dig through my files to find my actual prescription, but I have 20/200 vision. They are crystal clear, even out to the edges. I had issues with contacts while riding and so had used a pair of Bolles with the insert for a long time. When I lost these while rafting, I started looking for a replacement. I checked out Oaklys, but like everything else associated with Oaklys, they were way overpriced. After reading a review in a magazine somewhere, I gave Zeal a call. I talked to a young lady named Wink. She was very friendly and informative, assuring me that they could do my prescription. I got the medium brown lenses and shy of night riding, work great for about everything. It is one of the better, if not best, cycling accessories I have purchased.

I'm in the same boat with Brian in that I don't know my Rx without doing some digging through my medical records. you might give Zeal a call as they have certain models that work better with strong Rx then others.
I've got about 3 years on a pair of Zektors and have been very pleased. Besides some random scratches they have held up well and I would buy them again in a second. My only regret is that I got one set of lenses made. I'd like to have several other colors for different conditions... Give Wink a call. She is very helpful.
