We for a nice long ride this afternoon. It was beautiful sunny day. It was nice and warm about mid to upper 70s. I rode hard and worked up a good sweat. About three quarters the way into the ride, the chin strap of my brain bucket really started to iterated me because of all the sweat. I was real tempted to loosen it, but decided again it. Does anyone else have the same problem during warm/hot days? What do you to elevate the problem?

i'd just loosen it a bit. if it's irritating you it may be too tight.

The last thing I would want to do would be to "elevate the problem." :) However, to alleviate the problem, you might consider cleaning the strap. You probably wouldn't have any soap on a ride, though a rest room at a gas station could solve that. Otherwise, just rinsing it with water will improve your comfort a lot (rinse your skin as well). Whether to loosen the strap would depend on how tight it was in the first place - pretty hard to tell from here.

My Limar F107 helmet came with a soft sleeve that wraps around the strap - feels real nice. None of the other helmets I've bought came with such, but I think it's a great idea.
