hey there going to build up a set of wheels (for cyclocross) and was looking at going with the Velocity Aerohead front and the Aerohead OC(offcenter) rear, does this make sense? Or should i just go with the aerohead front and back or the OC front and back?
heres a link to their site: http://www.velocityusa.com/
btw im 175 lbs.

This is what made up my mind:
Quote from Peter Whites wheel building page:
Campagnolo rear hubs have a lot of dish, or spoke offset. This results in high tension on the drive side spokes, and low tension on the left side spokes. To compensate for this, with most rims, I use a lighter gauge spoke on the left side. It adds only a few dollars to the cost, and will result in a more durable wheel. So most of these wheelsets with Campy hubs are priced with Wheelsmith 14-16 spokes for the front wheel and the right rear, and 14-17 for the left rear.
But, if you use a rim with the spoke holes off center, you eliminate the problem of excessive dish in the rear wheel. Up until recently, there were no high quality rims available with off center spoke holes. But now, Velocity is making their superb Aerohead rims with off center spoke holes. Campagnolo hubs and Velocity Aerohead rims make for a terrific wheelset. You also save money since the entire rear wheel can be built with less expensive 14-16 gauge spokes, or save weight with the 14-17 spokes.

or the OC front and back?
The Off Center (OC) is made to give better alignment betweeen the rim holes and the hub flanges on an offset hub such as a normal rear. So, unless you are using front disc hubs, no need for OC on the front. - TF

it took me so long to post/write the message, others already replied!

Regular Aerohead in the front (for a normal wheel) and Aerohead OC in the rear to reduce dish and therefore give more even spoke tension.
