My comments were just tongue in cheek... no disrespect to the Gaggioli family who, if not single handedly, is doing more than their fair share keeping the bling-bling in the womens pro peloton.

Definetly the bike. My wife would let me ride it... and I would hate for that pretty young lady to be just sitting in my shed collecting dust (like my mountain bike).

My wonderful wife has been so incredibly supportive throughout this ordeal - I cannot trade her in!!....And the replacement value of my bike I was riding at the time of my accident was $6500..which I don't have..

Oh, and did I mention that the driver had no insurance!

I went with the bike. I could still get that and justify it to my wife. The girl, on the other hand, would be a bit more problematic!

she is old. give me the bike, but only after removing the stickers from the wheels.

she looks slight and petite which is good for the ol' knees and back. looks like a climber too which means I can lie back and ....... ;)

Truth is, I can afford to buy an expensive bike if that's really what I want. A girl, on the other hand, isn't that easy to come by. (Assuming I wasn't married, of course.)
