Thinking of relocating to the Gainesville/Cleveland/ Cornelia area. Any cycling clubs/group rides in that area? In general, how's the riding? Do you have to travel far to get on lesser traveled roads?

The local Gainesville cycling club is The Chicken City Cyclists. I used to work in Gainesville, unfortunately before I got into cycling, with a guy that is a member of the local club. If I remember correctly they had a weekly group ride on Wednesday evenings (weather permitting) and then "unofficial" (sometimes century) rides on the weekends.
