Podium girls are a sad sight albeit being a long tradition in our sport. I feel that the times they are a changing and that this sort of advertising-banner or whatever purpose they serve are rude, blunt and disgraceful for our sport and for all people who are practicing it. Of both sexes.

Sure, but you started a debate (really you expressed your dissappoint in this group not meeting your standards) in a public forum. It's bad form to ask to be moved privately as now you have a bunch of people feeling offended and wanting to talk about it.

It's too bad you have to see it, but it's a public forum, and compared to what I have heard on a daily basis (used to be a mechanic) this is nothing. I find the nude female form to be attractive. I'd bet that there are others who also find the femal form to be amazing and interesting and attractive. As for me - I even like the female form with minimal clothing. I see nothing wrong with ladies on podiums, on bikes, in the mud, or however they are photographed. If someone posts a pic of a guy in a thong on a bike in the mud, It won't do anything for me, but it won't offend me either. After enough of a glance to trigger the "ewww" reflex, I won't look at it again. I sure wouldn't spend time on a thread for "podium beefcake" or whatever. Not my bag, baby.

As for these women, these ladies, some are beautiful, some are sexy, some are fit and lean and some are not.For people who want internet porn, there are millions of other sites to go to.
