Here it is. I've logged 250 miles on it in three days, and my girlfriend is jealous. Plus, it's the only steel bike on my team, and my coach, when he fit me for it, said it was the first steel bike he'd had his hands on in three years. Damn shame, says me.

Weight is 18 lbs on the nose with heavy tires (28 Conti GP2000) and winter rear derailleur (Veloce). Not too bad for a steel frame, stupid-heavy fork, and proper 32 spoke wheels, eh?

oops. I slipped a photo of what I'm used to riding in there, too. Now you can see why I think 18 lbs is light...

18 pounds is pretty light to me. My Bianchi Pista track bike weighs around 18 and it doesn't even have gears!

The Nobilette is only two pounds heavier than my Miyata fixie, which sports a front brake and a rear wheel built on a Salsa Delgado. Whatever...as long as it's lighter than my MTB, I'm happy.

Yup. My exact sentiments. As long as my fixie and road bikes are light than my 32 pound mtn bike, I consider it light ;)
