53/39 is great; don't bother with the compact. You'll never get it shifting right, and FSA is reluctant (at best) to stand behind their product.

The original poster asked about the weight.

I've gotten FSA compacts to shift perfectly on three different bikes.

I don't know the weight of the new exos.

No sh!t, eh? ...Clearly, I'm blind with rage (or ineptitude) at my inability to get mine functioning right, and FSA's uncooperativeness.

Anywhoo, QBP puts the crank/BB set at 740g, and it should be accurate. You can substract a few grams if your BB shell is sealed well enough to go without the alloy inner spacer.

I've had nothing but good things from FSA. I stripped out a crank arm when removing it from the bottom bracket. I was completely my fault. I sent it back, they re-tapped the crank arm and it works perfectly. All at no cost to me except for shipping.
