FYI, I rode Nicholson yesterday and was surprised to see that the hill had been freshly paved. Francois says the local bike club paid for it! Getting in shape for the crit, no doubt. I rode it two weeks earlier, and man, was it in poor shape. The new conditions will definitely help with speed up the climb. Much more consistent surface.
