Well I didnt pay too much attention on the casette when taking it off (lessons learned).
When I put my casette back on, does it matter which way the free rings go on (12-15), and the spacers in between these rings?
Sorry for the inconvienece.

It matters because the cogs have some oddly shaped teeth to assist shifting that have to match up with the adjacent cogs. The good news is that you can't screw it up because the splines on the freehub body will only let you install the cogs the right way.

Heres the reason I ask....

If you look at the main body of the casette ( i think 17 thu 23 ) theres a spot where the cogs have a thinner spot for 2 teeth. I assume this is so the chain can move better.

But this 2 tooth spot is all in line on the main body, so the extra "free" cogs with spcers, I kept them in line with one another.

Thanks for the help , I really appreciate it.

If it's a Shimano hub, there is only one way you can put them on. Some hubs do not have the different width splines and you line up the little arrows on the cogs. - TF
