I do think your source is correct...

For some reason Campy Chorus Cranks/BB's are 102mm spindles, and Centaurs are 111mm, so unless you either did some fancy machining, or some wierd spacing on the rear hub, to correct the chainline (a 1cm diff is huge), it won't work.

Campy has updated their centaur BB for 2005. It is much better than last years model.

if it's '05 centaur bb, it won't work. you need the 102mm bb, either chorus or record, ...or phil, or...
