I have seen many sprint and even olympic tri athletes go alod school with toe clips and straps. It also makes brick training easier.

She's attractive, sure. But isn't she kind of the Anna Kornikova of tri? Does she have any good results?

She is sponsored by Nike. Those shoes are called Kukini. They are tri-specific shoes. I would assume there are also marketing photos of her running in them. Now, having said all of this, if they have pictures of her swimming in them, they have gone way of the top trying to promote them as tri shoes.
