I will soon be moving to RAF Mildenhall. I was wondering what kind of riding is in the area. I know roads are pretty tight, but is there a very active riding scene? I just finished putting together a cross/rain bike as to keep my Look clean for a while when the weather is ugly.

spent a few days there while touring a few years ago and stayed w/ some local cylists, tons of bikes in town and did some great rides...on road and bike paths. I do remember hearing that light requirements are strictly enforced after dark.

I'm stationed at RAF Lakenheath, been here for over a year now. Perhaps we could meet up to ride? Hopefully by now you've found the Newmarket area, there's some fine road riding there, too. I always get lost in Cambridge, but it is a great town.
