I am not sure if this is the area to post for it is not really a "question or FYI" but was looking for a possible riding partner for work. I live near Fountain Hills and work at I-17 and the 101 and was wondering if there was anyone that might be interested in commuting via cycling? At the moment my wife drops me off at work at 6:30 with my bike (we have a roof rack for the bikes) and I ride home at about 3:30 in the afternoon. If this could possibly work for anyone, please contact me.
I am also looking for a possible cyclist to ride on the weekends. I like to do the Rio Verde ride or take B-line around for a loop. I am not a pro by any means but my skill level can handle a 30-40 mile ride comfortably.
My wife also rides on occasion so if you are a couple that has recently taken up cycling we would love to go on recreational rides with you as well.
I have done the MS 150 for the past 4 years so I can handle longer rides but as far as weekend rides are concerned I like to keep it around 30-40 miles and maybe move up from there. If I am with my wife, we usually do a 20-mile ride and stop for coffee and relax for a while.
If any one of the scenarios sounds good to anyone, please let me know.
