This is a must-have item for the serious Look-collector (not only you, Dave). Found these Modolo's in a 1987-88 Velodor catalogue. Now the only problem is, where can the serious collector find this item .... (BTW: I have no idea).
Hope I'm not the cause of sleepless night! :-)

Don't forget - that was about 20 years ago though.
Old Francs - they were about 6 or 7 to 1 back then.

Can't remember what it was in 'real' dutch guilders of that time, but here are some other prices in the same catalogue, in french francs:
- Mavic Route brakes (same as Modolo): 748,00 F
- Mavic Service Course brakes: 1980,00 F!
- Modolo Speedy brakes: 815,00 F
- Gipiemme Special brakes (copy of Campy Record): 1189,00 F!
- Selle Italia Turbo saddle, black: 143,00 F
The catalogue seems to have evry brand of component except Campagnolo: the complete Mavic groupset (I had the rear mech at that time, didn't last very long in racing!), the first (I guess) Look frame (at 8900 - 9200 F), Vitus frames, Alan frames, Stronglight, Edco, Miche, Ofmega, Gipiemme, the PP65 and PP75 Look pedals (how clumsy they look). Nice to leaf through this 'old' stuff!
