My wife and I will be in San Antonio this weekend and would like to do a ride. Are there any organized rides this weekend? We are also staying in Bastrop St. park in a cabin with the family earlier in the week and will be riding in the park to practice the hills there. Getting ready for the MS150!

Saturday, March 12, 9:00 AM. Boerne Ride (NNW) (H).
Rides are 33, 40, and 48 miles. A challenging ride with some serious hills.

Sunday, March 13th, 9:00 AM. Adkin's Junction Ride (SE) (F to R)
12 to 60 mile routes. Mostly flat with lots of distance options on county roads. Meet near the intersection of US 87 and FM 1628, east of China Grove.

ALTERNATE RIDE. Sunday March 13th. 9:30 a.m. Utopia. (W) (R to H).
Note start time. Great pre-Kerrville ride, get ready for that century. Two options: the 30-mile is a relatively flat out-and-back from Utopia to Lost Maples State Park. The 50-mile route is a challenging loop via Vanderpool and Leakey.

Go to the San Antonio wheelmen site and hit the links page check out the other bike shops in the area, some sponsor rides. it's suppose to be in the upper 70's this weekend.

i might do the adkins junction, fairly flat, lots of spinning.
