What is the conclusion of those who have had a similar problem with OP's? Is it a spoke issue? My man at the LBS is going to put it up on the stand tomorrow and I'd like to have some ideas to throw at him. Thanks in advance.

I put some Phil's oil on the nipples and the problem went away... Also, mine only happened under load, they didn't click on the work stand...

The front wheel of one of my OP sets clicked, but only when climbing out of the saddle. I can't imagine you woud be able to produce it on a workstand. Oil on the eyelets worked for me.

Its one of two things. And oil wont fix it.

1- check for loose spokes rubbing.

2- CXP's are particularly bad for the wedge inside breaking loose where they're seemed. That can be fixed by drilling a small hole inside the rim beside the weld and squiring silicone in there. Just a small blob and try and catch the wedge in it.

1. agree about the loose spoke probability

2. Question: wasn't the CXP seam problem a CXP-22 problem? I thought they got that fixed with the newer -33 seam weld.

Just for the record and again thanks to those who responded, oil did indeed fix whatever was my problem.
