Hi Guys!
I need advice. I'm finally upgrading my girlfriend's bike from a shimano 105 group to a Campy Centaur group. I was just wondering if there is any way to salvage her Rolf Vector Comps? I inquired about using an American Classic conversion cassette but the rep at Excel sport indicated that it will not work on a pair of Rolfs.
Just want to know my options, aside from selling the wheels :)
Thanks in advance.

I really don't know the answer but it seems to me that if the Am. Classic cassette was made to work on Shimano type freehubs, it should work. Why not ask Am. Classic? Some companies (like Zipp) can sell you a different freehub. Don't know if Rolf would do that and it may be further complicated because I think Trek has the rights to the "older" Rolf wheels so you may have to go through them to get that question answered. Good Luck. It's a shame components aren't more universally compatible.

If you decide to sell them, it ain't all bad news. I had a pair w/only 500 miles go for (please sit) $430 on ebay. I was happy to get rid of them fearing replacement parts headaches, and would have gladly taken $250.

Hi ridewt!
My girlfriend's bike is now complete. I took a chance in buying the AC conversion cassette and used it on her existing Rolf Vector Comps. It worked like a charm even with a C-10 Campy chain!! :) We only got a chance to work it on a trainer but it appears that shifting had no compromise with the chain/cassette/wheel combination. I am truly pleased with the outcome.
