I have read a few threads from folks stating they dont have tools or a stand to do their own work on their bikes. Here is an outstanding deal on a beginner/intermediate kit for the home repair guy/girl.

I own this stand and have built a bike from the frame up with it. Regardless of what some may say, you can easily remove the rear tire while bike is mounted on this frame. The only area that is difficult, but can be done, is running the shift cables under the bb housing on the frame. Also, I use it as a bike rack in my garage as well.
