That code is a multi use code. It was inteded to be used over the phone, though it seems a few people got it to work over the online shop.

This is odd, but...I called yesterday to order some stuff, mainly just maintenance things that are good to get when the price is good, but anyhow, like I was saying I wanted to call to make sure it would go through and the service rep told me they were told not to take any discount/coupon codes over the phone? It made no sense to me and I almost called back to get a different rep and try again, but I just thought I'd give the online route a shot and it worked for me. Who knows, performance doesn't really have their act together but I'm too cheap to resist 20% off.

Actually, I just got it to work online as well. I hadn't noticed when I cut and pasted the number from the browser that it picked up a trailing blank space. Apparently, their web form doesn't trim spaces before processing. Once I noticed that and took off the space at the end, it worked fine. Thanks for posting. Saved me $17.17 after my Team Performance discount had already saved me $20 or so. Two pairs of their multi-elite shorts, two pairs of their really nice cycling socks, and six patch kits for under $75. And my LBS is having SuperSale this weekend. Going to save a lot of money, even if it costs me a lot to do it! :-)

I got some speedplays, too. Speedgoat had them for 135 and Performance pricematched and then I used the coupon. BAM! But now speedgoat raised their price to 150, but it's better than everyone else, plus the 20%.....

Yeah, I placed an order with speedgoat for some X-2 ($135 back then) as of March 6. They kept telling me that they were on a back order and a week out. Four weeks later I gave up on the goat and cancelled my order. Performance told me that the pricematch and 20% coupon couldn't be combined so I said what the hell, I wanted zeros anyway. 20% off and 20% back on my team performance account is just as good anyway. ;)

Performance lied to you. Not surprising. Speedgoat told me the same thing and I canceled my order after 1 day, but Performance still price matched.

Just ask, "are you still price matching." They say yes, you tell them what it is, they look it up, they say, "Okay, $135 (back then)." Then you say, "And I have a coupon."

I would push the point. My sales rep pointed out to me that my team performance points were double during the weekend (I already knew). I ended up exchanging the shoes for another size, we'll see what happens.

Still works. Just got a Pneumo helmet from performace for $80 with it. If you are a Team Performance member you can get the Pneumo for $99, and the 20% off makes it $80. I also had 1500 points so it ended u p being $65.
