I had two great rides Saturday and Sunday morning this weekend on my regular bike after a tough winter riding fixed gear whenever and wherever there wasn't any snow.

So far this winter I have seen exactly one other rider over a 1000 miles of training. Did anybody else get out this weekend? One of the better times of the year in my opinion. Low traffic, bracing temperatures. Now, as far as the potholes and mounds of road sand go ....

Not a lot of hours outside this season but it sure feels good to be outside again, I ride typically the mid-cape area.

But I'm down in Jersey. But I am at the Inlaws each Christmas in the New Bedford area. I take my bike each year and usually map out some longish rides, sometimes out towards the cape. Maybe it's the time of year but I've NEVER seen anyone else on a bicycle in your area. Does anyone other than you ride in your area?

I've heard that western and northern Mass are hotbeds for cycling but southeastern Mass is a bicycle black hole...
