Alas...another one bites the dust:

PARIS, April 1 (Reuters) - German sprinter Danilo Hondo has
failed a dope test for an unknown stimulant and has been
suspended by his Gerolsteiner team pending the results of the B
sample, his team said on its website.
Hondo, 31, pulled out of the De Panne Three Days on
Thursday, saying he was suffering from flu.
Hondo won two stages of Tour of Murcia this season and
finished second in the Milan San-Remo classic last month.

:( well that sucks. i was lookin forward to watching him this season. after reading March CycleSport, he seemed like a promising sprinter who was about to make a name for himself...

That sucks; I remember the first time I watched the Giro on OLN and he won a bunch of stages. Another day, another doper.

It would be awesome however if he admitted to having Jose Canseco inject EPO in his a$$meat.

I just hope if he's failed a drug test for a stimulant it doesn't end up being one of those lame over the counter cold medicines failures that costs him his career.
