I hope so. What a fantastic day. I closed down the shop at 5 and was able to squeak out a nice little ride before dusk. I rode S on 36 from Lyons, east on St Vrain, back up Nelson to 36, then back to Lyons. I hit the Fruit Loops with the addition of a little extra climbing up South St Vrain Canyon before heading home.
I love this time of year, especially in the early evening. Birds singing, crickets chirping, cool temps and little traffic.
I hope everyone elses ride today was just as good!

I was able to make my first ascent of Lookout Mountain yesterday. Felt great to be out there. The temperature was near perfect.

Nice. A friend of mine and her husband also hit that climb for the 1st time this year. She just started cycling about a year ago. This was her 4th time up Lookout and she now loves climbing. She's hooked. We've got another addict!

I'm looking to improve my time by a couple of minutes next time out. I was running at about 90% and know I can do better. It almost seems strange that I'm looking forward to going out there to suffer some more. I must be an addict as well.

Opted for a BBQ instead, but did get in a nice 4 hour ride last weekend heading from Boulder to Ward to St Vrain and loop back to Boulder. Peak to Peak was simply beautiful and the smell of the pine trees was out of this world.

You guys still doing weekend/evening group rides? I spoke with you last year about it, but got slammed with work. Would love to get together...
