Now that the USADA has found him guilty, given him a two year ban, and declared any races he may have won because of doping invalid - should he give up his gold medal from the olympics too?

That would be an implicit admission of guilt. If he wasn't going to confess when it might have gained him something, he certainly isn't going to come clean now. Maybe if he ends up in need of money in decade, he'll write a tell all book, implicating Armstrong, etc. And of course, everyone will just call him a doper and dismiss what he says:) 633 04-18-2005, 05:52 PM Should - yes. Will - not likely. dlbcx 04-18-2005, 08:29 PM Now that the USADA has found him guilty, given him a two year ban, and declared any races he may have won because of doping invalid - should he give up his gold medal from the olympics too? The wise choice would be for Hamiton to give up the medal but I don't think it's going to happen. I'm sure the Russians will press Tyler to give up the medal; otherwise, some Red Mafia guys might be showing up at his doorstep! Yeah, in my mind there are not too many clean ones. Obviously they don't all get caught. Ekimov may have been juiced as well. If not at the event, earlier in the year. Look at Marianne Jones. Did she ever test positive for anything? She was one of the biggest dopers going. asgelle 04-19-2005, 08:00 AM Look at Marianne Jones. Marion |
