My wife and I will be out there from the West Coast (she's originally from western Mass) this summer for a week. Can anyone recommend a LBS that does a reasonable rental for the week? We're staying out in Eastham and will probably spend a day out at MV.

We'll be doing just some recreational rides while we are out there.

They might not necessarily be in the Cape but I'm sure they'll be able to direct you to one closer.

I know you posted awhile ago, so this might be too late, but if you want to rent on MV, Edgartown Bicycles (www.edgartownbicycles.com) is great. The Steamship Authority charges for a bicycle ticket too, so it might be cheaper to rent once you’re on the Island. The Vineyard is a great place to ride. Have fun.

Orleans Cycle (just off 6A in Orleans) and Idle Times (on RT 6in Easthan) are the two in the area I can think of immediatly. Niether rents high end bikes to my knowledge, but I'm not clear on what your looking for.

There are 3-4 other rental locations in the are that I can't of off hand.
