I can usually just push the chain together to pop the link out, but it is not coming off. Are there any special ways to take it off? Thanks.

Thanks. to take all the tension out and double it over as though you are making the chain shorter and squeeze the links together like you are trying to press the plates tight together. That should get it moving. cycloscott 04-23-2005, 03:30 PM Try squeezing the plates together in the center while you're pushing the links closer. You can also use 2 pennies to push the corners together. They get a bit sticky sometimes. Make sure the adjacent links on either side of the powerlink are in line. Then put each of your thumbs on the sides of the powerlink where the pins are fixed and push together. Sometimes giving it a little wiggle helps too. Tour De Frans 04-23-2005, 05:50 PM Thanks all. I got it. :) |
