looking for info on any shops that somebody out here knows about that might carry the rear horizontal drop out set screws for proper wheel alignment. you know the ones that have the springs on the inside. i'm building up an old Concorde SLX and the screws that came with the frame are bent and missing the nut ends. any help would be great.

check "loosescrews.com" they have a lot of small stuff like that. good luck

Most bike shops that have sold high end bikes since the 80s would probably have those

i tried a couple of high end shops and they either don't have them or won't be getting them in.

This is pretty much the definition of a bike boutique. You want a real bike shop. This is one way to find out if the place is a shop, or just a boutique.
