Hi There,

I am in the market for a new race bike, and came across a good deal on the new Jamis Xenith.
But no one I know rides one, even the shop doesn't have any to test ride, they can only order it if I want one, and the guy at the shop is a bit skeptical of how well it will ride, being that most of Jamis's experience seems to be with Mt Bikes.
So any feedback I can get from someone that has ridden one would be great.

My local shops deals Jamis, and I had the very same question. I was told this is a very hot bike for them (Jamis), and they can't poduce enough of them. The only problem is, who the heck is riding them if they are in such demand?

From what I have seen are a few Pro 1/2 teams are riding them so far, but other then that nothing. All in all I have no doubt that these are great bikes...It's just a lot of cash to drop without knowing for sure!

Well the fact that no one has responded... hmm maybe I should wait untill next year.

[The Jamis road bikes (in Canada) are just starting to arrive. so it might be a few weeks before you see some on the street. you might have to be a little patient for people to respond.

I was going to order one from my LBS, but he could never get a straight answer on when the frames would arrive. I decided to get a Felt F2C. He is supposed to be getting 2 of those frames in next week. I heard those bikes are hard to come by as well. Maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up for one of those too.
I was also looking at the Kuota Karma frame hanging from the ceiling (just happens to be my size). I may end up getting that if the Felt frame doesn't come in.
