Just bought a 2003 Vela for under $1K with full 105 group. Checked out E-Bay and other retailers, seemes like the best buy. Competition was Giant '99 TCR 2 or Masi frame with 105 or centaur group purchase (closer to to $1,600 total). Anyone have any other input as per performance, etc. of these rides? I'm a mtn. biker with no time to hit the mtns. since moving to Canada's financial centre.....looks like I'm going to be a roadie convert......
