Just got a new bike with an FSA K-wing handle-bar and a "wireless" Shimano Flightdeck computer. When it arrived, I was dismayed to see that the "wireless" computer had wires running from the computer to each of the integrated shift levers. My LBS had taped these wires along the bottom of the handlebar - somewhat ruining the excellent ergonomics of the handlebar's tops. The handlebar has internal cable routings, so should the wires be able to fit inside there?

Has anyone else run into this situation? Any advice would be much appreciated.

You could do it but you would have to cut and splice the computer wires. I would cut it and run the wires through the internal routing holes. Then reconnect it with some male/female connectors and conceal them under the handlbar tape. That way, you could unhook it if you needed to.
