We're interested in pannier touring in NW Wyoming in September. Perhaps 5 or 6 days averaging 30-50 miles per day. We'd like to see Yellowstone, and would also consider nearby areas such as the Jackson area or Cody. It would need to be a loop route, though, in order to get back to our car.

Any suggestions of good routes, or warnings about bad road conditions? Is there a good source of published routes in Wyoming?

Sure- start in Jackson, head up 89, ride up to Tower Junction from the east, then ride to W. Yellowstone and back to your car. Beautiful ride, with lots of loop potential and the ability to add/subtract mileage as required. Enjoy.
