I've been looking for pedals with toe clips for the past month. Unfortunately, all the places in Philly sell only to size Large, while I am a size 14 in shoes. i also haven't found any online that would work for me.
I am instead going to look into getting a different pair of pedals, which have more grip to them, so I dont' feel like I'm gonna fall off when I ride.
Does anyone have any suggestions here? My bike is used in an urban environment, dealing with cars all the time.
thanks
If you can live without toe clips, these (very large) MKS RMX pedals are great. Bike shop should be able to order them - about $20.00. Dual-sided entry! :)
you could look at a basic downhill pedal and use Power Grips. Something like a Kona Jackshit pedal, but there are lots of choices. The Power Grip is just a strap that your foot fits into that is attached to the pedal. I believe they have a large size.
If you wanted clipless, CB Mallets are also considered a DH pedels. Very large.

clipless pedals aren'ty really what i am looking for. thanks though, and any other suggestions are appreciated.
Quick sketch of the old solution to big feet - home-made wooden spacer. Effective, light and cheap.

the wooden spacer track looks good, may try that. Also, what is the verdict on Powergrips? Do they really work, and if so, how well?

I have a pair on an old Motobecane I use to ride with my kid. Wanted to be able to ride in my sneaks. I'm old enough to have used clips/straps and frankly don't miss them so I gave the straps a go.
They work fine but the pair I've got need to be a bit bigger for my New Balance 11.5EEEs. I can get my toes in but not really enough to want to try a sprint. I bought mine from Performance or Nashbar and they said nothing about larger sizes but maybe they're around. If so they'd be a really nice solution but if they're one size only and you wear bigger shoes than me I doubt they'll work at all.

i am size 14. so i guess i'll need a bigger pair.
Rivendell carries two or three old-style pedals, and I have these on an Atlantis with some generic plastic clips. Got about 5000 miles on them with no problems, and they smooth out as you go along.
If you're a purist, grease or drip some Phil's Tenacious Oil into them before you install them. They come with a pretty minimal application of cheap grease.
