Has anyone had any experience of Richard Sachs frames? I really like the look of them. How long is the waiting list? Can you choose any colour you like? I should probably just phone up and find out but I thought I'd ask on here. Also, what's the whole procedure regarding measurements etc., and does he ship abroad?
Lots of questions! Thanks :-)

definitely one of the premier american builders. i know he definitely takes his time to make sure you get the best built product around. you may need to contact him directly to see what the wait is, but i would guess that it's not a quick turn around. as for options, i'm sure someone else can speak to that, especially him.

I would call him or e-mail him directly, he is a great guy to work with & easy to talk to.
Current wait is somewhere between 18 mos & 2 years.
He has Joe Bell do the painting & I think you choose (although he prefers classic looks).
He likes you to come in to his shop to get measured although you should ask him about overseas orders.
Call him.
Great frame BTW. Best measure is that they rarely come up for sale used.
