Upright. And noticebly so. It's interesting to see him in that position given the rest of the peloton are much more hunched over. At this weekend's Crit. Internationale even on his TT machine he seemed "higher" than the others. Did he ride in this position with USPS too? I don't recall. Did Riis do this to him?

it's been his little anomoly as far as I can recall. kind of the position of most 'true climbers'. possibly all the shoulder injuries may have added to it, but been roughly the same for a while. not that aero but allows easy breathing. considering he'll be 'hid' most races it's a non-issue. may hurt in the ITT though. The obvious difference is Lance who although is one of the fastest TTers out there is constantly trying to improve his position. I think Jan's (my extensions are lower than my headset and pointed down) as last years Tour was a big influence.

i've noticed tylers position. I have to say in the huge slopes he always looks the like most comfortable and relaxed rider.
