I'm normally off by 5:00 p.m M-F, looking to ride 1-2 times during the week. Weekends I'll be riding from my house in Fort Collins, and I've got a couple of pretty good loops. Some weeks get messed up, but mostly OK. Call me if ya' like. I live up on Sugarloaf Rd, so there are plenty of climbing rides around me. My work schedule is still a bit in the air(moved here last week) but should be pretty regular. My bike will arrive by the weekend and I'll give you a ring, we can set something up for next week. -zack Bocephus Jones II 06-13-2005, 12:45 PM I work in Boulder, Live in Fort Collins, and I'm looking for someone to ride with regularly. Anyone out there need a moderate paced partner? There are tons of group rides around town if you are into that kind of thing. Stop by some bike shops and/or health clubs and ask around. Some are probably faster than your "moderate" pace though so make sure they know what you are looking for. Personally I tend to ride by myself most of the time because I have a rather erratic schedule and a long commute. Too hard to coordinate. single track mind 06-13-2005, 01:00 PM Cool, afternoon/evening rides around boulder sounds good. I live up on Sugarloaf Rd, so there are plenty of climbing rides around me. Personally I tend to ride by myself most of the time because I have a rather erratic schedule and a long commute. Too hard to coordinate. I hooked up with some guys from the RMCC last week and was able to keep up on a relatively flat 30 miles, but I think they were taking it easy on me. (18.5 mph average) That was the only group ride I've ever done, and it was pretty cool. It's generally easier to coordinate with 1 or 2 guys than 20, though. I've only been riding road for a short period of time. Thanks for the follow up. colocraig 06-13-2005, 03:35 PM Another good option for you would be the Denver Bike Touring Club rides that leave Scott Carpenter park in Boulder each Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM. These are intermediate paced road rides, between 20 and 35 miles that get back around dusk. We usuaully have a group dinner afterwards at a local Mexican restaurant. Friendly folk, typically 10 to 15, and a reasonable 15-17 mph pace. I'll be there tomorrow nite - hope you can join us. single track mind 06-14-2005, 06:24 AM Another good option for you would be the Denver Bike Touring Club rides that leave Scott Carpenter park in Boulder each Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM.
