Hi,
What channel(s) carry cycling coverage in Cambridge/Boston? (I just moved here)
Is there OLN out here?
It looks like Comcast has "The Outdoor Channel", but that seems to be different than OLN and the cable rep didn't know much.
Thanks for any pointers - I need to get hooked up before the Tour starts. :)

I get Comcast cable (analog variety, I haven't "upgraded" to digital yet) and I get OLN. I am closer to Worcester then I am to Boston so that might make a difference. But OLN is channel 65 here.

nod. i made a few more calls and it seems that cambridge is an OLN-free zone. the salesperson at comcast claims they add it to the lineup in july though.

This is why I switched to DirectTV last summer before Giro.
DirectTV actually is cheaper than Comcast (digital) as well.

sorry for the delayed response ... busy these days.
Haven't really had a problem with it so far. Those Comcast commercials are just marketing hype. Our dish lost it's signal once last winter that I can remember and once last summer for 15 minutes during a super hard thunderstorm. There are boatloads of folks with DirecTV in the Charlestown area. It's all row houses for the most part so it's easy to get a dish on the roof with an unobstructed view of the sky. In other areas of the city I could see it being a pain.
It's worth the inconvenience for me.
