View Full Version : Terry Schiavo dead it's confirmed
atpjunkie 06-15-2005, 07:32 AM autopsy says brain irretrievably damaged. blind (optic center gone) no amount of help would have changed a thing. oh and no signs of abuse or foul play from anyone clearing her husband from those crap charges from her family and the religious right. I guess Terry's family and those around her won't be joining her in the great beyond, ya know bearing false witness and all.
rufus 06-15-2005, 07:39 AM i think congress should enact emergency legislation repealing her death and compelling her to testify before them.
thatsmybush 06-15-2005, 07:42 AM So your saying that Bill Frist's videotape diagnosis was incorrect?

Obviously a biased libbie medical examiner. Rush will have the real scoop this afternoon. I'll withhold judgment till then.

O'Rielly will have this whole thing set straight and factual--damm libbie message boards.
atpjunkie 06-15-2005, 08:02 AM should pink slip that doc. clearly let his feelings skew his professional scientific opinion.
that's malpractice and could be a liability. misdiagnosis due to personal feeling is not a sign of a good doc.

"Thogmartin said that Schiavo's brain was about half of its expected size when she died March 31 in a Pinellas Park hospice...."
So, what do the folks who wanted to keep her "alive" say now?

Typical libbie, letting politics trump his medical judgment. Shame on him for politicizing this awful situation! Why does he hate America?
atpjunkie 06-15-2005, 08:10 AM but not holding our breathe. apology isn't in their vocabulary, and like the gay marriage things this was just a P-R move for the FundiCons

The response I have already heard was that the removal of the feeding tube was the cause of the severe brain damage, and that she was fine until that happened. This was just one guy's reaction... Silly...

Live Steam 06-15-2005, 09:13 AM I guess you all have something to celebrate?
Spunout 06-15-2005, 09:16 AM That would be pretty cold and stupid to celebrate, wouldn't it.
I believe the tone of the discussion above is affirmation that the christian right is definitely wacked. Want in to our circle?
atpjunkie 06-15-2005, 09:36 AM just the sad acceptance of ther mindlessness and thoughtlessness of our rivals. and the acceptance that the party on the right will stoop this low in their sheep herding efforts

I find it interesting that Fox chooses the "before" pic of TS while CNN uses the "after" one where she looks like a made up zombie.
I guess you all have something to celebrate?
Hmmm... Where IS that little thing I wrote this morning? ... No ... No ... Not here ... Hmmm... AH! Here it is:
Infer, impute, paraphrase, mis-state, put words in the mouth of, create out of thin air, find vast sinister meaning in the failure to say a particular thing, find vast sinister meaning in plain silence, accuse your opponent of clearly approving any bad thing he doesn't go out of his way to condemn ... TMB, if you proposed to debate at this level, you need to develop some of these skills.

MikeBiker 06-15-2005, 10:19 AM look, just cause her brain was half its normal size, she was blind, and could not swallow food or water on her own, doesn't mean she couldn't have lived a happy, vital, fulfilling life in her hospital bed.
Don't forget voting. I'm sure she could have done an absentee ballot.

Thanks (I guess) to Ed quoting Steam I can read his post since I don't have the...oh, I don't know...desire, to waste my time.
I guess I'll waste my time again. Yes, Steam all of us who saw the Schiavo case as a travesty and needless torture should be celebrating today. (Maybe you could be so kind and tell us what exactly we are celebrating).
"Your a moron"
Live Steam 06-15-2005, 11:01 AM The posts above sounded like gloating or something. They certainly did not have a tone of remorse or sadness. I just figured there may be some celebrating ready to commence.

well after all, theyve worked hard to earn the "party of hate and death" banner. it was a big leap from just "the party of hate".
plus they have to celebrate every time they can to make sure the money they spent on the new signs and business cards pays off.
atpjunkie 06-15-2005, 11:20 AM we think you should be saying
'well gee guys I guess I was WRONG sorry'
nothing to celebrate in your or your parties lack of honesty
this won't be the last of these so keep the faith, rally the troops, follow the leader
rufus 06-15-2005, 11:58 AM don't expect any sense of remorse or apology from that crew. apologizing is a sign of weakness, ain't never gonna happen. they'll just blithely ignore it and latch onto the next fundi-con outrage of the week.
atpjunkie 06-15-2005, 12:16 PM while Mr Party of Life w is responsible for the deaths of thousands, executed more people than any other govenor oh yeah and signed legislation that said they could pull the plug on life support not because you are living but because you are broke.

So, you are saying that if no one could pay Terry Schiavo's hospital bills they would have yanked the cord quicker than Rush could say "Give me more pills!"??? I'm aghast!
Snakebit 06-15-2005, 12:28 PM Don't forget voting. I'm sure she could have done an absentee ballot.
If she was a Democrat, she still can.
atpjunkie 06-15-2005, 12:45 PM all her husband would have had to do was run out of money.

So, I'm sitting here and the local news is running in the background. Just on was a story about some poor guy who's pregnant wife is brain dead from brain cancer. Horribly, horribly sad story. Said they were talking one night and she just stopped breathing right in front of him. They had no idea she had cancer. He's now trying to keep her on life-support until the baby reaches 25 weeks. They say the bills are now several hundred Gs and they may have to pull the plug if it looks like it will go much further than 25 weeks. Why isn't Congress talking about stepping in to help save the life of this unborn child? I mean, really, I'd get behind them for this one. This one would make sense.
Room 1201 06-15-2005, 07:28 PM Sorry Ken-the masters of mis-direction never pull a rabbit out of a hat for the same audience twice

That is brillance. I will hence forth quote that one alot.
"The masters of mis-direction never pull a rabbit out of a hat for the same audience twice"
Of course, you will get full credit.

The vatican tried that once:
"Pope Stephen VII, the successor of Boniface, influenced by Lambert and Agiltrude sat in judgment on Formosus in 897, in what was called the Cadaver Synod. The corpse was disinterred, clad in papal vestments and seated on a throne to face all the charges from John VIII. The verdict was that the deceased had been unworthy of the pontificate. All his measures and acts were annulled, and the orders conferred by him were declared invalid. The papal vestments were torn from his body, the three fingers from his right hand which the pope had used in consecrations were cut off and the corpse was then thrown into the Tiber. Following the death of Stephen the body was reinterred in St. Peter's. Further trials of this nature against deceased persons were banned"

spyderman 06-15-2005, 08:31 PM These evolutionist activist scientists get these things wrong all the time. How can they not refer to God for the truth?
Peace be with you.
atpjunkie 06-16-2005, 07:58 AM your life only has value if you can pay for it. In this case they should be pro abortion, who wants all these future welfare cheats? (speaking from their P.O.V.)
